@ Crikey, I always thought you were a bit intolerant but on this one I'm with you 100% and I need to know where you found the boys shoes?
Was it the Santa Pod lost property barrel with his name and class written inside.

Boy has this thread been funny.
First up, all of the guys and gals @ POD work their butts off to provide excellent the groundwork for excellent race meetings. They work long hours for little reward and most importantly they keep us all as safe as is possible (motorsport is dangerous!). We all owe them a great deal. Have previous meetings not gone as smoothly as they could, maybe - but in those instances lessons have been learned and things have gotten better - it certainly hasnt been due to a lack of commitment or effort. The track has a great team. They will never be able to make everyone happy. Fans, sportsman racers, pro racers all have a slightly different view on this. Even ask a different cross section of fans what they like and you will get multiple different answers. The team at santa pod and the promoters have to try and balance all the different views so that everyone is sufficiently happy with each meeting and will keep coming back and paying to watch or race. They keep investing time, effort and money into racing. Look how much better things are now! The facilities are better, the safety is better, more and more is offered to make an awesome show. The most consistent thing over the years though has been the efforts that the track go to to make each event work. If your disappointed by numbers of racers turning up then there are different places you need to look for reasons why. The economy and where people are finding the money to race is one. Racing is expensive and its hard to make the money to keep returning to the track, this affects everyone but think of the cost of bringing a race car here from abroad. Another thing to consider is politics. There have been political shifts for european racers i believe that have altered some teams plans - in conjunction with the economy.
The quality of the racing comes down to the racers, none of which are aiming to be mediocre or not put on a show. Its tough at the moment for people to afford to run, that may be reflected - especially in the pro show. That said I certainly saw some really great racing last year. Didnt we see some of the fastest Top Methanol racing outside of america? Werent things tight in the sportsman ranks? Werent there 5 second doorslammers?

Morning All
I said that we were going to update you after big bang, Well that first lady was not race director it was Ian on the start line which seems really strange, if you can run a meeting from that position. I popped in to signing on and carol was not there. I guess this meeting is not prestigious enough for her. I guess will we have to wait for the Main event.

Jeez... when will you learn? The decision of who is to be race director does not lie with you. As mentioned previously, if she wasn't up to the job she would not have been appointed. Well that's most odd as I had several really nice chats with Carole... or maybe she has a twin who doesn't mind slumming it at "less prestigious" meetings! As for Main Event, I'm sure Carole will be absolutely thrilled and honoured to put racing on hold just to schedule in a Q&A session with you!
Jeez chevy... give it up will ya... can't see you're getting on everyone's t*ts now!!
Oh and by the way.... did you know that the LADY Media Centre Manager at Pod is stepping down so there's a vacancy going there if you fancy putting your clearly superior skills to work.. I'm sure you could do a much better job!

Lol indeed, I'd almost say the OP has a touch of Autism by the way he posts on here.....which Is fair enough, because surely no one could be this dim and not take a hint.....or maybe the gene pool is a bit polluted? chevyrat said:

Women eh? Never around when you need them. At this rate, the main event's gonna be a mess. We'll have pro mods racing pro stock, tmd racing tf, the rocket bike out qualifying everyone in top fuel bike and all the while the washing up will be piling up in the sink. I just hope you get enough comments and support from the banking for when you get your meeting with the First Lady. Just make sure you upload it to youtube or record it for the radio

I admire his effort of trolling, thought this thread was done with.
It must have been raining at playtime and teacher let the class use the school's computers. Sue - According to Eurodragster your job requires mature tact and quiet assertiveness, I can't see any maturity, diplomacy or quietness being part of Chavvyrat's make up and can't decide on the assertiveness.
