Flame and Thunder

Hi All,

Just a quick message to get opinions on Flame and Thunder - is it worth going to for a last drag racing fix of the year?

No list of teams attending so can't tell if 'drag demos' means decent drag racing all day or just handful of cars.

Would be interested to hear from anyone who's been/is going.

It's a mix of race vehicles going down the strip and exhibition vehicles (jet cars, dragsters, trikes, etc). There will be nitro cars running. Normally two dragsters and probably some funny cars. So far this year, they've only announced a single dragster IIRC (Liam Jones). It's usually a decent day out, but don't expect to be seeing non stop drag racing all day.

Guess it depends what you're looking for, all I'll say is that this year there's a really good mix of quick cars and bikes (including us) doing drag demos... Always a fun day out!
