Odd, that's not my recollection of Miller's rocket car, or any rocket powered vehicle I saw including Henk Vink's rocket bike. Quite the opposite in fact, they were utterly silent until the switch was flicked and then they were just sort of gone. Incredible to watch but for sheer physical brutality nothing touches a Top Fuel car.

Our resident Bird fan is obsessed with Sammy Miller.......
