Any suggestions on cheaper suppliers of nitromethane. Also does anyone have experience of mixing it with propylene oxide?

Cheaper than whom?

Anthony Billington at G-Max has been the supplier of choice over here for some time.

Propylene Oxide............yikes
Is this not the only fuel additive that was outlawed in drag racing in the 70s,
together with hydrazine?
I remember one looong night in Drachten/NL listening to an
american Nitro Harley Veteran named Clyde Rawlings,
who told me frightening stories about these two additives.
Like having to drain the fuel lines into a sponge right in the runout area,
in order to avoid the mixture´s self-induced explosion.
Or the tech inspector giving the fuel pump a kick in the pits,
to see if it was fixed properly, and the part went BANG some 50 feet away...yikes.
I do not exactly remember which of the two substances turned the nitromethane into something more like nitroglycerine,
bacause there were some beer substances drink involved drunk in that loooong night........
But you better ask an expert, is there anyone around here ?

Hydrazine is what made nitro shock sensative,I believe propylene oxide speeds up combustion without this danger.
