Prelude: 2.0 vs. 2.2VTEC - Insurance!

Bringing this thread back to life, I've got an mx5 turbo with 9 years ncb as my only car but have just bought a 2.2 prelude 5th gen, modified. Online quote as a 2nd car was over three grand but on the phone got that down to 660 fully comprehensive and all mods declared, with business mileage and no NCD. Might have ended up a bit cheaper transferring my NCD to the prelude but as the policy's don't really line up it would have been quite a hassle. Helps being 32 tho.

Thanks for the update skinny. I actually re-found this thread when searching for this again.

With a few more years under my belt, I'm revisiting the Prelude option (ended up buying MX5 after this thread) so any more recent input on insurance for the 2.2 VTEC would be welcome
