Hi, I know nothing about tires, what are some good tires for a FN2 Civic, i'm not sure of the exact size but the wheels are 16". If anyone can help, thanks

Google 'auto express tyre test' - read the article, should give you some pointers.

Evo also do one, but more performance-biased and the tested tyres may not come in 16" sizes.


More specifically:-
- Don't touch remoulds or anything chinese-sounding with a bargepole.
- Typically the more you pay the better tyre you get.
- Hondas tend to work well with Bridgestone, but B'stone are only 'average-to-good' in the wet (depending on tyre).
- As an all-rounder tyre, the Continental PremiumContact tends to be the yardstick.

The original tyres on an FN2 were Bridgestone Potenzas RE050A (225/40 R18).

They're for 18" alloys though.
