garage recommendation please essex

Hi, My CTR FN2 needs a 72K service, I've had conflicting advice from my local main dealer. Last year at 62K it was apparently a major service including tappets, fluids etc, now on telephoning to book the 72k I am being told the same, surely this isn't correct? It also costs £760 ouch! Can anyone on here recommend a Honda specialist within reasonable travelling time from the Billericay/Chelmsford area please. Mark

I'm from the Chelmsford area and the only place I take my DC5 to is TGM. It's not the closest place but if you're a member on the forum you will see that TGM has an excellent reputation. Give those guys a call and speak to Tom.

My lad uses TGM too, drives there from Colchester when required.

Well, I'm booked in for Tuesday at TDi in Thurrock, I spoke to a helpful and knowledgable chap over the phone. I am now booked in for the eibach spring and geo set up. Anyone else on here gone down this route? I'm hoping to dial out a but of the oversteer on the track and have a more compliant ride on the road? What are your experiences?
