I am wondering if there is something wrong with my FN2 or is it normal. If I am doing around 30mph in 2nd or 3rd gear then lift off the throttle completely. The car seems to slow down a lot by itself. Seems the engine braking is quite harsh. Is this perfectly normal for the FN2 or do I have a binding brake problem?

Also, sometimes I notice the engine braking only after a fraction of a second of lifting my foot of the throttle. Is this due to the rev hang?

I'm no Mechanic but surely jack the car up and try rotating the wheels by hand and if one wheel is stiffer you have a sticking caliper?

Does it pull to the side or anything when coasting?

I thought a lot of engine braking coincides with having a light flywheel? I'm assuming the FN2 has a light one like other hot Hondas.. I'm sure a quick google could tell you all this.

My facelift EP3 also does this. Light flywheel. It's fine.
