HONDA CRV 2004

I'm about to buy a 2004 CRV Exec Auto, but it doesn't have audio/phone controls on the steering wheel. Is this an issue that can be rectified by changing steering wheel and I guess involving some fiddly wiring on dash. Or simply not possible?
