Honda FRV clutch

Hi, I'm new to this site but have a bit of an issue with the clutch on my FRV and am hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the problem before I hit the garage on sat.

On occasion the clutch has felt firmer to engage than usual and I haven't been able to get into gear at all-I have to lift my foot of the clutch completely and try again-when, most of the time it works.

I'm just wondering how much of an issue this is, and if it's a breaking point?

It's a 2.2 diesel with 100k on the clock

Try hanging the clutch fluid, flush it through with clean stuff, you could always take the slave cylinder off, clean and grease the tip.
