Honda OEM Parts for CRV (suspension related)

Just had a service for my 2008 CRV and apparently it needs both the front bottom ball joint covers replaced (£227) the n/s/f s/abs is leaking and needs replacing (£490) and o/s/f s/abs dust cover split (£160), now after already forking out best part of £600, I said hold that thought on those bits.

Now I balked at the quoted prices and suspect I may be able to do this myself ( can spanner my motorbike so how hard can it be), can anyone recommend a good aftermarket spares place online (or in Berkshire if bricks and mortar) where I might be able to acquire the above?

If you wanted OEM parts, you might be able to order then from the USA & save yourself quite a bit. I did this with my Integra & even with international postage & import taxes I saved a lot of money.

Was there any import duty added on? As sometimes that can negate savings.

There was the standard 20% import duty to added on (they also added on 20% for the cost of delivery which I wasn't expecting), but the savings compared to what you pay in this country were so huge that I was still £££££'s in.

For example the clutch slave & master cylinder were £206.53 & £138.01 from Lings, but ordered from America it came to £74.11 & £43.45.

If you can, get the part numbers & take a look.
