The roof on my S2000 is a little knackered, and on its visit to the local Honda dealership they have a replacement roof in that they've offered to fit for a reduced fee. I had agreed until they called me up this afternoon to tell me that the roof is actually blue.

So do I go for it and have a lovely new AP2 roof that's going to look a little different, or stick with a knackered roof until I can find a place that can fit a black one. I'm aware of the chap in Swansea but not really feasible as that's a bit of a distance away.

Handily, someone in the US has already done it.

silver car, black interior, blue roof?
not for me, no cordination..
Silver car, blue interior(replaced from a Nurburgring car?), blue roof
yep
Silver car, black interior, black roof
all day long
Silver car red/black interior, red roof
maybe.

There are other roof providers, but most are at £6-700

I'd make the trip to Swansea... if he's say within say 1-200 miles...

They quoted £800 including fitting. Aware I could get it done cheaper elsewhere but the opportunity of having it done without any hassle made me go for it. Obviously if I went for it I'd be asking for some more money off.

Jeez,a blue roof? How to reduce the resale potential in one foul swoop. Head to Jack Smith in Swansea, it's worth the trip. Just over £300 fitted. Plenty of positive reviews from the S2k community if you research it

Jack Smith fitted my replacement roof, he uses non-Honda materials [You'll get a cloth roof similar to the Z4's], which may bother some people, although I actually prefer it as it seems a lot more durable. I think you can actually ask for a different colour too...

No hassle though either, just drive down, leave it there and go for a walk around swansea for 3-4 hours. He did have something like a 6 week waiting period when I got mine done in the summer though

It's still around 6 weeks now.... he gets used by the local Mazda and BMW dealerships alledgedly... must be doing something right... £290?!

You could it done there....twice and still have enough money left over for the fuel?!
