Every time i see one of these i point it out to the wife, would be ideal for her plus i think they look great. You don't see many around though

Theyre actually better than expected can get 40mpg easily £20 roadtax and its only a 1.5 ivtec so still.pretty quick considering, using the battery as an assist is great

I'm considering one to replace the wifes mk3 Mx5 if/when we have a baby. I'm hoping the Mazda will be fine for a bit, but this seems a good left field replacement. I've got an Accord estate so don't need another big cat, just some for the day to day duties. What's it like to drive? Is it worthy of a 6am Sunday morning drive?

To me going from a R32 mk5 golf to this 1.5 cr-z yes its not as fast or noisey but if you wNt to save money its around £32 to fill from empty and £20 a year to roadtax and get average 300miles at 36mpg but press sport and turn off tcs and it seems like it turns into a little sports car almost asthough the suspension tightens and the throttle response is improved, as you own a honda you probably know ivtec kicks in fully at around 4000rpm and does power hard and revs high its not by any means slow but i found this article i hope helps you sum it up better than i can http://www.torquenews.com/1574/2015-honda-cr-z-des...
Have a read and let me know what you think,
I used to work for honda and enjoyed the roadtests which persuaded me to buy one a few years later,

It does look like a fun little car. And unlike the anti GT86 brigade I don't think Power=fun. Good to hear that the vtec is noticeable even know that. Unfortunately my diesel Accord, whilst it is 180hp, hasn't been blessed with VTEC. I quite fancy a white Crz to park next to my white Accord,

Your accord looks nice! And yes I agree a small little eco-power-fun doesn't seem right but it is a nippy little car!, I dont know if you have your local to a Honda dealer if you could roadtest a CR-z although when I checked in Solihull non were in dealer stock! But I checked earlier today and some are maybe see if they would let you borrow one with intent to buy? Over a weekend or something? To see how it suits you etc!?

This is my CR-z with black inovit super light aluminium alloys just been fitted!, to me it looks better without the wheels lost in the arches and in dull light with DRL's dimmed looks angry without the front numberplate on the front and black wheels!

To be honest we've only just started trying for a baby, so the Mx5 should be OK for this summer. At the moment the wifes shortlist is a Kia Soul or a Jazz. Bit I'd like to keep to something a bit more interesting and the Crz seems to fit the bill perfectly. If/when we started looking for one I'll try and find one so I can try a stroller and car seat it. Do you know if it's got Isofix in the back? Strangely the Mx5 has got isofix in the front sp someone foresaw the Mx5 as a family car.lol

Cheers mate. Showed the Mrs the picture and she said "do they come in red". Bloody women, I had to go to Brum from south Wales to get her a red mx5, she doesn't seem bothered what it is as long as it's red, lol.

Yeah that's the sort of thing. I'll probably start looming next spring I'd imagine depending on if any miniGazzas arrive.

This is her Mx5

A little tip if your ever in a convertible with an electric. Roof and you happen to have a top hat on, take it off before you put the roof up otherwise your neck tends to get shorter. Lol.

My dad had one of these a while back. I did a few miles in it. Interesting car. The looks both outside and inside are nice & modern. My only real qualms were it was neither sporty, nor eco, nor very spacious. A 3 seater at best - it works better as a two-seater with generous boot
