S-MX info

Inspired by the reader's car thread, I'm interested in getting a Honda S-MX as an urban runabout.

If all goes to plan in the next few months, I won't be doing big miles anymore and can get a more interesting fleet going again.

Does anyone have an information about how to import one of these, what to look for and parts availability? I would be grateful for any advice.

Engine stuff should be a doddle but if you ever need anything oddball like a windscreen or such you could be waiting months. Buy a UK Stream or Fr-v for better all round service.
