Anyone on here crashed an EP before?

hi, I'll add pics later but a friend had a shunt (they rear ended someone) in their EP and the front wings have moved backwards slightly and stop the doors from opening; however at the front where the wing bolts in, the inner panel+wings have moved outwards about 1 inch (evenly on both sides of the car).

Ignoring all other potential issues (damage, value, cat c etc), would this put you off repairing one of these or is it an easy to fix problem?
If this makes no sense I will grab a camera after work.

There pretty resilient, mine was an 04 crashed in 07 and I thought they would write it off

sorry for the internet pic it was raining like mad last night. That's the bit i'm talking about.
btw that must have been some serious bills to get that thing rebuilt
