Civic Type S vs Type S GT

Have decided i'm going to purchase the above Civic diesel around late 00's variety (unsure what generation that is, maybe 8?)

Anyway, from what i can tell then differences between the two is that the GT has a glass roof (not bothered about that), and cruse control (AM bothered about that!)?

Does anyone happen to know if it's simple to fit the cruise control to a non-GT?

No idea on the cruise issue but www.civinfo.com is the site for all things Civic.

Just get the GT. I've not long had a 2009, fairly happy with it apart from a slight but of clutch slip in 5th/6th. Setting aside £900 for when it eventually goes. Nice torquey car for the motorway.

Check the seating position too - takes a bit of getting used to.
