So, my DC5 seems to have some central locking gremlins...

After the car has been sat a few days, it won't unlock/lock on the fob, however the alarm still arms and deactivates fine (cobra fob/system).

So i use the key to gain access, and the central locking works fine on the key, but as soon as i start the engine, the central locking becomes possessed by some sort of poltergeist and starts intermittently locking/unlocking, several times over, or just a couple of times...but often repeatedly.

The only fix i've found sofar is opening the door, and trying the fob again while the engine is running, suddenly it'll start locking and unlocking on the fob again, and seems to calm the central locking system down.

Sofar it managed to lock me out on day 2 of ownership, which was fun...

After driving the car and parking up again the central locking works fine on the fob again. And it seems better behaved with more frequent use...drove to work this morning and it unlocked on the fob, and the central locking didn't take on a life of its own at all.

Am i looking at an alarm system issue here? or a central locking issue? Need to take it somewhere to get it looked at, but wondered if this is a known honda "quirk"?
