Where to get S2000 hood replaced??

Hi, I have an 1999 S2000 with a shabby hood. I have bought another canvas from a later model with the glass screen but need somewhere that can fit it. I live in Doncaster, any suggestions on where to take it?

Bit of a trek, but my mate had his S2k roof fitted by a specialist in Middlewich, Cheshire.. I could probably get the details if you were interested. Not sure if they supplied the hood or not though. He has a 2000MY but had the later glass screen roof fitted, all he has to do now is get the wiring sorted

Hi, don't mind travelling a little if it is a good job. Don't know of anywhere around here although 1 garage has said they would 'have a go' and would charge around £350 which seems a lot?
If you can get some details of the Cheshire job I would appreciate it.

Right, they're called http://www.martrim.co.uk/ and are based in Sandbach, which is just off J18 M6. Mate says they did a decent job at a fair price, seemed genuine etc.

Well, not a glowing report for Martrim. Emailed 3 times and rang them 6 times. Still no-one has come back to me! However, managed to find a local guy who seems to know what he's doing, car with him this week, so will see how it goes!

Quick update, new hood fitted by trimmers in Doncaster and a great job. Friendly, knowledgeable and good price. Recomended to anyone in requirement. (and it has also fixed my leak which I couldn't trace!)

Resurrecting an old thread I know, but just had my S2000 hood replaced by Jack Smith, Swansea and he did a fantastic job at an incredibly competitive price compared to anyone else. It was replaced while I waited in a morning

Yes, I can concur Jack Smiths are great roofs, had one fitted by them 3 years ago, car is outside 24/7 (no garage) and the roof is still in great shape, no leaks, fab and all for a great price and an afternoon in Swansea.

My car is for sale by the way if anyone in this part of the forum fancies an S2000 in the fastest best colour
