I'd rather not raise the budget substantially, plan to buy almost entirely with cash which will hopefully leave me completely debt free by next March- And therefore release £200/month for the TVR fund for next summer... I do agree though, if I could get into a facelift for about £6500 then I'd do it. Quite picky on colours though which doesn't help wink

Ideally after the following combos-

Moonrock with red interior
Dark blue with black interior
Red with black interior
Yellow with black interior
Orange with black interior.

I'm desperately trying to steer clear of a gorgeous-looking but dodgy Monza orange one on eBay at the mo!

Yeah the moonrock is a great colour! If you are not keeping it too long I wouldn't worry too much.... you will be spending more time driving than looking at it wink

DO NOT use anything other than the genuine oil filter fitted correctly.
There is a history of none OEM's coming off and several people have lost engines because of it.
Really? Use Blue Point ones myself, do them up tight and have NEVER had an issue.

Dare I say do a search on s2ki and you will find quite a few engine failures because of it.
It is one of the few filters I've know to play up when none OEM ones are used. Mainly due to them coming lose. They will not stay on if you use the usual "hand tight" technique. The OEM filter has very specific instructions printed on it. There was some thoughts it may be due to the high reving nature and the resonant frequencies. J's Racing sell an oil filter retaining kit! laugh

Very nice, I'd like a White one. However I'm not 100% keen on the new style wheels.

How you finding it over the type r (assuming it was a ctr?)

Hi all,

I just wanted to say, I too have a burgandy black S2000. I sold it over the weekend and I expect to exchange this weekend.

I have only seen two other burgandy black cars online in the UK. They are quite rare!

;-)

I think the new wheels are the best ever on the S. And they do look good in white.

In case you are still interested I may be selling my Monte Carlo blue S2000 GT. Its a 2002 year car (glass rear screen, hardtop) and is only on ~32k miles. Full Honda service history and genuinely well maintained, completely standard apart from upgraded speakers and radio.

I am sadly thinking of selling as I would like to get a Boxster as I feel its more my kind of engine (S2000 not enough low down torque for my driving style, prefer the flat 6 noise) and I only have one garage space.

Based in London NW1 (Regents Park) and am not asking the world for the car given its way above averag condition (indeed, main thing stopping me from getting a Boxster is finding one in similar condition to my S2000).
