Anyone want to meet up in Zurich as we did two years ago to drive together down to the meeting point? I'm not sure, but I think we had a meeting point at Bahnhof Enge, but can't remember the time. Any suggestions? I'm sure there are a couple of people driving in from or around Zurich...

Phil, I'm planning to go straight there. We have visitors who are stopping over on the way to Tuscany from the NL and meeting in ZRH last time probably added almost an extra 45-60 mins onto what is likely to be a long day.

You're right - now that I did a lookup on maps, I do see your point. I guess we'll see eachother at the meeting point! Weather looks brilliant, really looking forward to this!

How is it going with GTO number 2? Has it arrived in the UK?

Quick question for anyone who has taken part in the past....what time do you expect us to finish tomorrow (other half pushing for a return time!)?

Guys just to confirm that according to the latest bulletins, it looks like the Susten Pass will be opened tomorrow at 0800.
Not bad timing at all laugh

Route 1 would be 5-6 hours driving time; with lunch and a few stops I guess we would all reach the last location in the late afternoon, around 5PM, something like that.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure the waiting will make the final delivery even sweeter.

Given the "drought" in the UK and the hosepipe ban, perhaps you should have bought one of these instead..... wink

Hi there,

I'm interested, is it too late to join? If not can you tell me a bit more about this run? Starting time, place and route map.
Thanks

Jey

Can we not change the start point for the gate at the bottom pass at 07:59?

13 or so cars, revving in anticipation, we could get a nice farmer to count us down ala WRC, and at 08:00:00 away we gooooooo.

Unless someone has slung a speed camera in on a heli it would be a LOT of fun! I recon you could get ½ way down the other side before you’d start meeting traffic.
