Passed in the afternoon, but perhaps a bit late... after 3.30 pm and probably missed you both. Didn't see a RS500 nor TVR Sagaris. Did see a lot of very nice cars and also a genuine GT40. Hope one day to be there with an Ultima.
See you.
Hi Daniel. It poured down mid afternoon and the parc area turned into a quagmire. The Eggenberger guys I was with packed up around 3.30 and I left the parc some time shortly after. You must have only just missed me. By then the car had been rained on and was filthy anyway though...!!!See you.
There were some lovely cars on display - If you could have caught the early afternoon sun prior to the rain is was perfect, if a little cold.
Typically the weather on the Sunday was bloody perfect. Typical

Nice car, I noticed the vents on your bonnet are open (the ones over the wheels) was this standard? I though they covered them on the final production model?
Yes the open vents are only on the preproduction cars. This is a prototype Sagaris from 2004. And you may noticed the poor build quaility on this car also...But it will be converted to LHD during the winter. So the car will be new build from ground.
The car belongs to Beat Eggimann and I can drive it as long as my Tuscan has an engine rebuild.
Also meet Roop with his well-kept RS500. Hope to see him again. Maybe we could organize a little hoon in spring 2009.

Still a lovely car though, I think it looks better with open vents, who cares about a few chips in the windscreen lol
Got back a week ago from a holiday in Malbuisson (just across border from Vallorbe).
Great event, well organised with loads of interesting metal to see. I thought that the TVRs were PH'ers' - but where were your "smileys"?!
Anybody who hasn't been really ought to make the effort rain, or shine! (Z4 was a bit of a handful in the snow on the French side of Mont d'Or, with the front spoiler acting as a 'plough...)
