Hallo,
No problems :-))
I'll ask for a personal guide for us to look round, but we would have to agree on a date.
As I am in Germany for the moment, will do it a bit later.

Regards from a snowy day in Bavaria

Hallo Swiss Pistonheads

Today I intended to driver to the place, but weather is a bit wet overhere, so I phoned the people:
Result:

1)
We need to be a group of around 10 - 15 heads for an individual tour around, English seems to be not a problem :-)

2)
We need to fix a date, they have open days, but you have to register, see here:

http://www.autobau.ch/eng/events/our-events/?anm=o...

The chap on the phone was friendly, so contact is done and it is over to us to discuss further action.

Regards, Rainer and Dot

(30th May would not be possible for me, as I am on holiday in Normandy till around the 20th June '09)driving

Hi Rainer

Thanks for looking into this.

We could make 2, 9 or 16 May

All the best
Andrew & Gilly (in a slightly wet Zug)

Eek, not the 9th of May for us - Andrew forgot we have friends visiting from the UK. Fine with the other dates.

Good evening

How many we would be on May 9?
If I do the booking I think I would need the full names, hopefully we are
at least ten of us. I can speak to the chap again if needed.

Gilly & Andrew: no problem, Dot and I can organize something on an other
date.

Regards to all

I had the pleasure to visit Autobau last Sadurday with the Swiss TVR car club. Very nice location and of course a lot of cool cars!
Definitely worth a visit. Best is a guided tour in a group.
We also had a nice apéro on the terrace.
They have a very small circuit, but more for go-karts and presentations. Not for racing...
A few pics are on our webpage: http://tvrcarclub.ch/page2/page52/page52.html

cheers.......peter

@ brem: Danke :-), nice to know that there are so many TVR's in CH...

@ all:

So, if we agree for May,9, I gather the following Pistonheads could attend:

- smilerbaker: 3
- JMGS4: 1-2(?)
- abels 1-2(?)
- chandrew 1-2(?)
- rainerm@dot 2

Total: 8 more or less fix, whose wife,girl-friend,kids would like to come?

Total price is CHF 250.-- which I am prepared to pay in advance, but only if there are
enough PH's joining.

Kindly note, that there is only one fixed tour on the 9th planned for single persons,I am
sure we could arrange something directly maybe a bit earlier that day or on a parallel
base in English.

Re: meeting point: Dot and I are hopefully doing a little hooning in the Engadin early
evening of April 30, May 1 is a holiday in Germany, therefore Dot and I could do
some sniffing around Romanshorn-Amriswil.

Thank you for your efforts.:-)

Rainer
