Yes looking forward to a great day tomorrow. Weather looks fine for most of the day albeit a risk of thunder storms in the afternoon. Wait and see.
For those meeting at the service area b4 Zürich, any plans of stopping before arriving at Romanshorn for a quick lunch or do we have to plan on taking sandwiches, etc?

Cheers
Daniel

Hi everyone!
Hope all got back home without any hitches. We got caught in an enooooormous yikes thunderstorm near Frauenfeld (sheets of rain and high winds) after a nice drive up the coast to Constance.
Micheline and I enjoyed the day and the walk around the exhibition was most interesting. Its great to see some fantastic cars in such good shape. Will post some photos here after I have sorted the lot. Have a short video of the red AM start up. Ah the smell of unburnt petrol. Don't get to enjoy that with all the cats and other electronic controls these days.
Many thanks to Rainer and Dot for the perfect organization. Its great to arrive and have nothing to do. The Aston Martin parking lot was an unexpected sight to see on arrival.
Looking forward on seeing some PHers of Switzerland again soon.

Have a good Sunday and kind regards to you all
Daniel@Mich

P.S. Thinking of a PH meeting in the west of Switzerland? We'll think of some iseas and get back to you with some proposals soon

Hi Guys and gals
Also got caught in the storm, worst problem was the idiots driving on the autobahn at 60kph!
Great to meet everybody and our thanks to Dot and Rainer for organising this.
I'll be posting some photos on my site later this week, feel free to browse and copy at www.ghg.de/galerie

I'll start another thread about the Black Forest Hoon we discussed (under BFH09) here on SwissPHers and a connection to the german site if they want to join
Keep it shiny side up

Dear PHs, "girls and boys"
We never thought that idea of ours would be such a success :-) Many thanks to all attending.
It was great to be able to put faces behind the forum's nicknames.
Special thanks to the well behaving children :-))
Our drive home was topless all the way, just in the evening some heavy winds after we arrived.

We have some more ideas, i.e. a private Rolls-Royce collection and one of the biggest
private Ferrari-Collections worldwide, normally not for public viewing, but no entry fees, but just money
for some charity :-) is collected..

These places are not far away from yesterday's Romanshorn ;-)

We are looking forward to some new hoons. Every car should be welcome,
even good old Mini's ;-)

Enjoy Sunday.

Future champions?
Regards.

Dot and Rainer

PS:I did 187 pictures, eek, burnt a DVD, ...if interested send me your postal address by PM, and I will do my best
to send it to you in a resonable time, or I send one to one of the IT specialists ;-) who can take over the job and
put it on the web, quoting the link for the CHPHs, as we are complete computer idiots :-((

Edited for the following: Have also three short videos but have to compress it a bit coz it's 48MB. Probably put them on PH TV.

Morning all.

First of all a big thank you to Rainer and Dot for organising the event. It was a great day out and it was good to finally meet some of you. Unfortunately as amy camera is on the blink I had to use my phone, so the quality is not the best Romanshorn PH Meet

Thanks everyone. We had a good day and managed to get back just before the baby-sitter arrived.

I've uploaded some photos here.

Look forward to seeing you again soon, probably on one of the summer hoons. Won't be driving our mate's Defender on one of those occasions. Great though they are (off the tarmac it's a hoot) I'm not sure they match the purpose - as we were rushing to get there I took too long coming off the brakes as I turned onto a motorway slip road at 120 kmh. The back wheels naturally went very light and I had visions of having to catch 2.5 tonnes of the sort of vehicle in which you look down on most SUVs. Oh, and then there's the brakes, or lack of them.

Hi all Romanshorn participants!

The red Aston we saw last Saturday got me loooking aroud and I popped a topic in the PHers Aston Martin forum. Some interesting replies.... Seems this car is a real rarity!
Read here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
