I'm thinking about one of the Prodrive Performance upgrades for my Subaru but am struggling to work out if they are legal (I don't want the hassle of it not passing the check.)

Prodrive said 'All of our Performance Packages are calibrated to meet European Legislation Standards.' but also 'please check if this is applicable in Switzerland'.

Anybody with any experience, or know which specific questions to check with Prodrive?

Hi!

Do you know if the upgrade gets a TÜV approval certificate? If yes, probably OK to get installed and registered, but would check with vehicle authorities.

Wonder who does Subaro upgrades in Switzerland? Worth checking out. Does ProDrive have a rep in Switzerland?

Cheers
Daniel

your only tested every 2 years, so just keep the orginal parts and swap em back if they spot them.

As they didn't spot my exhausts and induction kit I wouldn't be too worried about it smile

Have looked around and found that GTO Evolution do Subaru tuning. Worth checking them out to see if your kit is "legal" in CH.

Hi, that's wonderful - thanks for the effort. It seems that they sell just the kit that I'm looking at from Prodrive.
