Great day and really nice crowd. I cooked my Noble's brakes more than once!
My brother was 106db static so never even made it on track. Strict place Bedford!

Great day on the track today, really enjoyed it, just completed the 130mile trip home, I was in the Black MINI, great to chat to Terzo24 and his friends as our garage neighbour. Good standard of driving I thought today and a brilliant variation of cars, special moment watching the 911 slide across the grass and into the gravel by the pit lane, wasn't loosing much/any speed on that grass but the gravel worked Was my first in the MINI so looking forward to doing it again

That was brilliant fun .. perfect weather .. although there were a lot of cones to dodge throughout the day The GTA was a lot faster than I was expecting with its new lsd and eibach arbs .. up until the point 4th gear broke (it was on its way out) .. I might have some of you guys on the gopro, will let you know when I get the videos edited a bit and online .. Cheers, everyone was great, apart from some guy in his white m3, he wasn't having any of me coming past, despite begin clung onto his bumper for 3 laps, first proper track day, will be back for more .. Bedford is a top facility. Scooby, was your brothers car the Evo that blasted past us with you on the way to the track? Was a shame to not see it out.. That Noble of yours is a beauty

Great to chat to a few people and massive thanks to the chap who gave me a spin in the atom. Utterly gutted I couldn't get the evo out on track, stupid loud exhaust. Will get it sorted ASAP and get another track sorted. Drive home was fun though, still can't get over how quick the car is now I've got it back!

oxam said: You can see me on your last lap coming out of the pits having waited for you. Wish I'd known you had a camera so I could have got in front and you would have filmed me! Then it was all over.....you cut the video just as I passed you on the straight post black flag!

I was there in the Blue MK2 Golf. Well, when I say I was there, it was for my son. I was a nervous passenger to Matt who passed his driving test a couple of weeks ago was driving ! it was his first time driving my car and his first ever trackday The cheesy grin on this first pic from his second session sums it up for me My wife was out taking photos, but for ones from the official photographers from the day, drop xtreme photography a line @ xtremephotography@live.co.uk . The first 3 of the Golf are ones they took. She has several, so I`ll see what I have if I know what i`m looking for Alfa Mini I remember seeing the Viper, sounded lovely as it passed. I also saw it returning after outbraking himself into the hairpin at the back of the circuit ScoobyP1, good to meet you yesterday, sorry I couldn`t help with sorting your brothers exhaust issues Which Scooby were you driving ?

No worries whoosher....it was nice that everyone I spoke to felt my pain and tired to offer advice/help if they could, but in the end there was nothing I could do and the poor evo just had to sit and look longingly at the track lol
My bro wasn't in his scooby, he was in the Noble....had one run as his passenger and he was lapping pretty quickly....as were most people come to think of it!!

Hi all Had a good day at Bedford yesterday enjoying the sunshine and peddaling my recently acquired Racing Blue Clio (DU05BHP) around on a set of Yoko Paradas, which spent the day making lots of screeching noises but did absolutely nothing to make the car quick!! Sadly, the bloody things wouldn't even wear out, so might need to be removed and binned in favour of something with a bit of grip. If anyone has any images, I would love to see them. Mark

Thanks for the MINI picture The above are from http://www.xtreme-sports-photography.co.uk/ Tyres did some work, both rears like this and to a degree the fronts Start/Stop Tech didn't help here - though I appreciate it would be low At the supermarket before heading home Some other pictures of the day - I don't seem to have many pictures of many other cars which is good I guess as it must have mean't I was on track or having a drink!! http://tinyurl.com/bvvd7qq

I also saw it returning after outbraking himself into the hairpin at the back of the circuit yup lap number two for the day - my own fault for trusting the EBC bedding in instructions crap...according to their site 300-500 miles of normal driving shall be enough for bedding in the yellow pads and the usual heavy braking/cooling procedure would actually damage them. BO***CKS!!! hence lost the brakes coming down the second straight at 120 mph and straighten out the hairpin...let them cool down, couple more heavy stops/cooling and they were perfect...no more issues for the day and no fading even after 8 fast laps

Wh00sher.
Many thanks for the images. Oddly a rear wheel bearing failed on the way home - not quite sure why because the rear wheels seemed to spend so little time on the track!!

What a great day. I was there in the Black Westfield with my other half.
Thankfully I had no issues on the day despite being convinced something would go wrong.
Thanks for the kind words Atom 111. Nice to talk to you and your buddy with the (immaculate) Elise.
Mark - Great photo of the 3 wheeler! Bring them to work tomorrow, I want a look!

Mike I`m not being funny, but I don`t know what yours looks like . Never having owned a caterham / westfield / similar, I don`t know them well enough to see one and say "ah, thats a xxxx" Nige.
