i was there driving the ktm x bow (giving passenger laps for forge) at this event, i didnt have any problems with any other drivers out on track, i was quite suprised with the large number of vehicles on track at once that there were not more accidents but most people could keep the cars on the grey stuff.

it was good to see no harm came to the four people who were involved in the accidents that day (fiat & aerial atom)

The Camp crash, Seen here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScFuHMQjxxc&lis...

Now this was very scarey for me as i was standing where the car hit. in the vid you can see me in the white vest and the marshal in black run...
The pics show how close it was...

Crash damage...

Where we where standing... (me white, marshal black) I was leaning on the wooden post at one point.

I've circled grass from the tyres so show how high the car got... that's about 8/9feet up..

It can right at us, no clue what happened, but he was going bloody fast and didn't look like he could turn the corner.. Huge bang when it hit.. Very scarey, made my heart go nuts. But i'm really glad both driver and passenger are ok, that is the main thing.

Glad all involved were okay. A tough and expensive lesson learned sadly. frown

Nice footage Steve although could you ask Mike not to swear next time? You know how offensive I find it! wink

Glad to hear the driver and passenger are ok - but gutted to see this as it's my old Fiat Coupe. I only sold it earlier this year and took it to Spa, Davos, Stelvio Pass and Lake Garda last year. Have a look at my profile for a photo of it in happier times.

Classic PH thread : the driver, the passenger, the person who shot the video, the guy who was nearly hit by it and the last owner of the car all show up... Is this a seriously small world or are there really _that_ many people on PH these days...?

I think the worse driving comes from the green Lupo/Polo a few seconds after the red flags come out - everyone else is slowing and they have to take to the grass to avoid another wreck.

But at least everyone is fine and there we go!
Typical of experienced drivers!!! They think they are better than the 'the others'- in this case most of the novices appeared to see the carnage / obstruction and take action - The worst driving by far.......Lupo man looks suspiciously like he might be this experienced race driver.

on observation...or rather lack of it

and another driver who lacks spacial awareness

bottom line nobody is perfect!
