Yep, he should have conceded when you went to overtake on the left, on the straight, as briefed by MSVT. So in fact it was him who was in the wrong and didn't follow the rules OR the track etiquette rolleyes

What colour MX5? There was a dark coloured (maybe green) import MX5 being driven at some great speed. Loved watching it going through the penultimate corner right on the edge.

I wasn't in an MX5 apart from when my friend let me do a few laps in his White one.

On the day I was in My Focus ST (Blue)

However I do have a MX5 which I wish I could have taken for some more seat time, but it lives with BLiNK Motorsport so difficult to get hold of when I want it...

The dark blue import mx5 was my mates. His first track day. If you it was going round in anger it was probably another friend driving it (he races single seaters so has a bit of an advantage over us armatures)

I really can't remember seeing a Blue mx5 there haha I find it amazing on track days that there are so many cars you don't pass or see on track when you're out!!

While I'm at it...bit of plugging won't hurt wink

Good bit of video highlighting the very thing I get at Bedford in my Eunos, the s/f straight is just too long for me but the chicane is taken pretty much flat out, where quicker cars slow up. Then the complex after the hairpin is a handling delight, screaming the nuts out all the way through and hanging it out of the corners. I was there back in February being "frustrated" by a Viper that was scared of corners.

You done well to keep your pool there, well done

I just slow down and let them go, or do a drive through the pits. Life's too short to worry about some knob that's fast in a straight line (Santa Pod's thataway, mate!) but can't go round corners. After all, it isn't a race!
