Who's in?

Barring any disasters I'll be there in my Black Westfield, if not, the GT86.

Looking forward to my first track outing this year.

I'll be there with two mates, one in a Radical SR3 and one in an Exige S.

Mike

I'm in, but currently don't have a car.
I'll be there with 2 mates, 1 in a Black Westfield and one with an Exige S (or depending on the weather, a Megane or a Clio!)
Hopefully my car will be ready, the sun will shine, the Black Flag will be reserved for others and the Red Flag will not be seen all day!!

Being my first track day of the year, I'm sure it will be bright sunshine, 30 degrees and no Radicals going backwards at Quarry!

If it's going to be 30 degrees out there, I won't bother taking a car, I'll just wander around the paddock in my Speedos, getting a tan!!

My rebuilt Diff is looking like £4k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the sun doesn't shine and I don't break the outright lap record, I am likely to be very grumpy and may well resort to crying!! And if anyone even hints at waving a Black Flag at me.............................

I might still wear the Speedos though.

£4k, that's the Team Principals budget for fags over a track weekend.

True, but don't forget who buys his fags!!

Anyway my car is now back, we know MSE always run good days and so I'm hoping for a great day's entertainment and nice dry conditions.

My boxer shorts were soaked in the first sighing laps with the stupid amount of rain - and never dried out all day. Were you in the BMW Joe?

I'm not entirely sure that soaking wet quite covers it, but at least the weather had the decency to dry up so that I could pack up without getting any wetter.

As for boxer shorts Mike, I had you down as a commando man!!

Yep, unfortunately we couldn't use the new semi slicks, so used the 'road tyres' which were just 100% cheapo crap [I got them as part warns for free], it would spin up in 2nd. and 3rd and we had zero confidence.. Which was a shame, as I had new semi slick to try, all the geo etc setup and just put in a new LSD.

Now going to source some rainsports...

My driving boots took 24 hours to dry…

What a wash out of a day?

I was in my black Westfield. I only went out for 3 sessions as my brakes are knackered after winter 'upgrades'. I got it booked back into the garage today to sort it all out.

Gutted.

That was after an enormous unexpected bill on Thursday night - to cap it all off, someone ran into the back of my GT86 today.

A truly ste 4 days.

The Orange Radical was going well! Just don't tell the owner, he will get a big ego.

I was carrying ballast in the Radical - a passenger and my own enormous bag of talent adds a huge amount to the weight of the car :-)
