Yes that was me - you were chatting to my mate Simon (black e46) but I clearly missed you.
The two e46m3 in particular looked well prepped, be interesting to see what weight you have her at, is she 100% stripped or just 50%Running new michelin slicks as well, gonna be a big advantage that

Cheers, It's about 75% stripped - it still has all the front end carpets and electric windows but it's also carrying a full fia t45 custom cage which adds a bit. When it was corner weighted with the heavy oem back box and half a tank of fuel it was 1390kg. I think it would be about 1370kg now as it stands. I'm pretty happy with that given it is still reasonably civilized to drive.Running new michelin slicks as well, gonna be a big advantage that
Michelins were good for a first try, but I need to try some other settings (more camber I think) to make them really work.

Yes, by all accounts nearly impossible to get perfect settings on a road/track car (assuming you drive it there). If not you are looking as stiff a set of springs as you can bare with 4/5 neg camber.Michelins were good for a first try, but I need to try some other settings (more camber I think) to make them really work.
You both looked like you were going very well, shame I didn't have the Cups on the CSL
It was a good day. Best bit was most people buggering off home at lunchtime!
Organisation was crap though.
Terrible understaffed 'check in' so half the people missed the briefing which was half arsed.
It's alright for you lot but when you're in a crap mx5 you need people who pootle around in v8 sevens to be told to ease off to let you past... And that fella in the in the 996 turbo cab holding everyone up at the beginning was the same.
I don't really blame them I blame MSV.
Still the truly open pit lane (fnar fnar) was awesome.
But compared to Circuit Days a fortnight before it was piss up in brewery territory.
And the driving was awesome. We tried to keep out if the way of the quick cars (note first paragraph gripes!) so hopefully no complaints (although if the chap in the Clio wants to claim for breathing problems after my monumental lock up - tough!). Only the mentalist in the Lexus (aha) really let the side down.
Everyone else was very fair.
Loved the black e46 m3 in particular. Was nice to chat to the guys with the vx220 and chap with red caterham and one of the r400 owners.
And finally - is the chap with the e92 m3 on here? We loved saying good bye on the straights and then scrabbling back up to you through the corners!
We did 100laps approx. good job both fans worked!
A good day. We were a bit bothered at first but in the end it worked out!
