What an eventful evening

Multitude of red flags :

MR MX-5 - Stuck in the gravel trap after paddock hill

BMW 3 series E36 - your only in a 320 possibly even a d - nice driving into the barrier

Clio Cup - stickered up racing the mini - did the talent run out or was it the car .....say hello to my friend the barrier

Its only a trackday - chill out

Poorly run in my opinion
Its the 1st event I've been to of there's

Shame. Evening sessions can sometimes be like this. The cheap(er) price + many wanting to get their 3 hours' worth can be a recipe for disaster!

Or the white S2000 that rolled backwards into the parked up Astra in the paddock just after the checkered flag (thanks to that Clio - made a lot of dust on impact!), even though the handbrake was on...

Yup, at times it was like a parade lap due to the traffic...

Give them another chance. I prefer OT over the others, I'm doing Snetterton with them on th 29th and have done several other sessions at Brands with OT this year.

Only time there have ever been issues is with evening sessions, as others have said its partly down to people wanting to get their moneys worth in the short space of time on offer.

Agreed - don't think it was badly run at all, the main issue was with the sheer volume of cars on (the very short Indy) track in the limited time available - and the fact that some attendees were clearly racing - or at least being 'very impatient' with slower cars ahead of them.

It didn't help that the bikes took ages to leave, which further compounded the time available issue, once people had unloaded/sound checked/got into garages, etc.

I've had the same experience the last few times at brands indy. They seem to be booking too many cars for such a short track.

Bigger tracks like snett, Bedford, croft seem to work better.

The Peugeot sponsored all day event on Wednesday was brilliant. Lots of track time, very few cars also. My buddy and I did 120 litres of fuel in our E46 M3!

Overbooking and late start plus too many cars on track

Surely these aspects are what we hope the organisers will plan for ?
