Anyone going to this? I'll be there in my Fiat-engined Westfield - last outing of the year before winter upgrades commence - along with a handful of friends in three MR2s and a Celica. Looks like it could be a bit damp spin

I will there in an MX5, a jetski looks like a better bet.

I'll be in a light blue 'blade engined Mac 1 if it's not too wet. If its really wet, I'll be in the tintop!

Yeah, every time I look at the weather forecast it's different! I've toyed with the idea of coming in the Subaru, but this is going to be the last outing in the Westfield before winter upgrades commence. Anyway, I've bought myself what is basically a waterproof romper suit so seems a shame to waste it biggrin

I was planning to use it as a last day before some winter upgrades too, so will certainly make an effort to get the kit car up there. As you say, it's pretty variable at the moment so with a bit of luck it will come right on the day!

Really enjoyed this, despite the regular red flags to realign the cones!

No camera from me sadly, my rip-off GoPro died. Anyone get anything? I had a couple of entertaining moments I wouldn't mind seeing again hehe

No video here, unfortunately. I'm waiting for the photos to be uploaded.

I had a great day and quite enjoyed the transition from wet to dry as the day progressed. Now tempted to try and squeeze in one more trackday before doing a few winter jobs...

I did the photography for the day and I'm hoping to have the photos uploaded onto my site by the end of the day.
I'll post the link here when it's all sorted.
The weather turn out great which was a surprise considering the torrential rain on the M4 getting there.

I am glad to hear that a pro-photographer is on site. The last few MSE airfield days I've done have had no photographer there. Are you going to be a regular feature Adrian?

Yes that is the aim, I had a nice conversation with Ed & Tash and they are very happy that I'm willing to do it.
I'm not going to make my fortune out of it but I'm happy to continue.
I'm also looking to expand a bit and may branch out to offer GoPros for hire. Probably do it so that if you hire the GoPro you get to keep the memory card.
But that'll be next year I expect.
Anyway, I best get back to sorting through Abingdon's & Castle Combe's sets otherwise I won't make diddlysquat biggrin

Ah cool - hope it works out for you! One suggestion if I may? I've done a handful of trackdays with Javelin and they have a photographer who takes a load of photos during the morning, and then sets up his laptop at lunchtime so you can have a look through what he's done. IIRC he sells CDs for around £30 each and there's usually a constant turnover of people buying (I've bought a couple on the past as well). I've typically had about a dozen photos each time.

Not wishing to teach you to suck eggs of course, but just an observation smile

The photos from Friday's Motorsports-Events track day at Abingdon are now online.

To narrow the pictures down you can search by make/model of car you are interested in e.g. BMW, Lotus, M3, Clio etc.
There will be some more pics added in the morning (BT t'internet was on a go-slow this evening furious)
