Were you there? Wet Snett November 22nd.

Yep, in a black/white Westfield turbo. Conditions made it pretty interesting! First time at Snetterton and it was great fun trying to balance the car and playing with a bit of oversteer.
Sadly, despite the cold and wet, my day was cut short just after lunch due to a heat issue! Turbo had managed to cook the crank position sensor wiring. I broke down on track and had to be towed off (sorry!). Managed to do a temporary fix and get it going again, but didn't want to risk breaking down on track again or not being able to drive the 140 miles home, so I called it a day.

Sorry your day was cut short but at least you left with your bodywork intact unlike others. Sadly, despite the cold and wet, my day was cut short just after lunch due to a heat issue! If its any consolation it didn't get much better until about 2.30-3.00pm ...Well it stopped raining heavily, still wet and cold
The last half an hour was great for a newbie like myself. With so few folk on track I was able to focus on taking the right line without constantly watching for faster traffic behind. Unlike my last outing at Bedford.
Well I say no traffic...
