Perfect conditions, well, once the frost had thawed on the circuit! Taking the gamble on 8 year old tyres was a poor choice, they were rubbish and spoiled the day a bit. What happened to your Evo Wellground? You followed me for a bit, pulled into the pit lane and I didn't see you again? Good to catch up Grubbster, I've looked back over the video, it mostly shows a close up of my shoulder, I really should have checked the angle after the first session, doh!
It was a fun day, we were so lucky with the weather (well at least once the track had thawed out!). I've uploaded the video from my last run - the scrappiest of the day but it shows what fun we were having in the SuperSnot! http://youtu.be/IROqK_dFFHE
ECU problem, I have changed from the original ECU to a MoTeC which nicely removed all the electronic aides which I hated, it also was needed to work with my sequential box for flatshifting. But one of the sensors (gear position sensor keeps blowing and throws errors on all the other MoTeC engine management sensors.
Trying to find the cause has been a nightmare. The problem is, these modern electronics that run cars with canbus systems are just WAY over my head. Not to worry, that was the last track day of the year, I enjoyed it whilst it ran, it went really well and was flying, so I will get it fixed for next year now.
Hope everyone had a great day.

I did have some fun with the nice stripped out LHD BMW M3, no idea who it was, but it was quite fast. Sorry for the video, its only Harry's Lap Timer on my iPhone 5 and the sun was low, very low.

The E90 M3 is owned by Kevin Bird and his son Charles Hyde Andrews Bird, they have just bought it, this was their shake down ahead of a season racing with the CSCC. Both very good drivers
Nice video Grubbster, did you find any of the Elise trying to follow you?

Just uploading some now Dave, only a few laps before the red flags came out, no clear running so the times aren't great.

Thanks Fishy Dave, I wondered who it was in the E90 M3. It's a great looking car, following him, I think he could do some more work on suspension damping set up, the car was wallowing on corner ext a little and I could see he was struggling to get the apex sometimes, probably small dialling issues. I am sure it will be a cracking race car. These shakedowns take a bit of sorting out, I know that with mine. Fantastic looking machine.Nice video Grubbster, did you find any of the Elise trying to follow you?

Another video clip, without the E90 M3 infront of me. Sorry again for the low sun.
