Slightly surprised at the love for Snetterton here. It's not a bad track by any means (the last section around the bomb hole being the highlight for me), but its still a flat and featureless ex-airfied site to me. See also; Silverstone...
Was at Snetterton the other week for the first time since 2009 and the new track layout is awful. The one bit I used to enjoy (the entry onto the back straight) is now gone and been replaced by a series of tight, flat and boring corners!!

For me it would be Donington, Silverstone International (I've not driven the GP) and Castle Combe.

I haven't driven Oulton, Cadwell or Anglesey yet so not sure if these would feature. Not a fan of Snet or Rockingham.

Oulton,
Donnington Park (minus the GP)
... and Thruxton. Just so scary fast round the back of the circuit. (can't recall corner names, sorry)

Cadwell
Cadwell
Cadwell

It's the one circuit I cannot wait to get back to, despite having been there a number of times, and the second rate pits. The poster who commented on Coppice has it so right - the faster you go, the better it gets, and that goes for all the other bends too.

A bit surprised with the lack of love for Silverstone. I know that is flat, but it has sooo many great corners!

For me:

1) Silverstone GP
2) Anglesey
3) Cadwell Park or...

...Oulton Park, or Donington.
Not sure which to feature in my 3rd place.

anglesey really that good? always thought of it a bit featureless like bedford, but is it really worth the 3 and a half hour drive to get there?

I have only driven 3 tracks but this would be my order:

Snett 300
Bedford GT - not a particularly interesting circuit but a big plus for the huge straight and the fact you can really push the car as there is very little to hit.
Brands Indy

Mine would be:

1. Silverstone GP
2. Cadwell
3. Snetterton 300

Although I have never been to Oulton Park or Anglesey.

So, the total mentions for each track to date (ignoring fourth choices) are:

1. Cadwell Park 17
2. Oulton Park 15
3. Donington Park 13
4. Brands Hatch 10
5. Anglesey 9
=6. Snetterton 6
=6. Silverstone 6

A couple of mentions for Castle Combe and just one each for Croft, Thruxton, Goodwood, Hethel, Knockhill and Bedford.

Looks like the key criteria is for the circuit to be set in parkland! There are a lot of mentions for Anglesey given how remote it is compared to the rest of the top 5.

Parkland and/or lots of elevation changes.

As you've said, I think Anglesey would be more popular if it wasn't so remote. Although it's still not parkland - more like Martian landscape.

Have the contributors visited all / most of UK’s major circuits though? I challenge anyone who have visited Thruxton and not put it in their lists of Top Three.

I’m only an enthusiast and certainly no expert or ‘driving god’; my top three are:

Thruxton – Super fast; there’s nothing quite like cornering at 115+ mph. My favourite UK circuit, though noise limit is low (90dB static) and track days are rare with only Goldtrack and MSE hold regular events there.

Oulton Park International – Great track with plenty of interesting corners.

Donington Park National – Fast and flowing; really suits my car. Don’t care for much about the GP layout though; the two hairpins add nothing to it.

Other circuits visited:

Bedford SEN & GT – meh, only one challenging corner (Tower corner); though good for novice or someone exploring the limits of a new car
Blyton Park – narrow and too many slow corners for my FWD (hard on front brake with trail braking), no plan to revisit unless I have a RWD
Brands Hatch indy – short and sweet; easy to learn
Cadwell Park – Great track, happy to revisit again
Castle Combe – many people raving about it but I thought it was a bit overrated, perhaps I was expecting more. If one enjoys fast circuit then Thruxton is better
Croft – very good track
Goodwood – enjoyed it but expansive and no OPL so one would end up queuing most of the day
Knockhill – much like Bands Hatch, short and sweet; I enjoyed it
Snetterton 300 – meh, it’s alright but in no hurry to revisit

I would like to visit Anglesey as I have heard nothing but good things about it. My car is probably too slow for Silverstone and I have no desire to visit Rockingham.

Rockingham isn't that bad and for the pocket change they charge it's well worth a go. Have done it twice this year, wet(very slippery!) and dry. Both times it was quiet. I did Thruxton as an experience (Caymen/Lambo LP670) and wasn't inspired to go back; possibly the format of the day though. Bedford is good for what it is.

In no particular order:

Oulton
Silverstone GP (Great long layout for pushing the car hard, but flat and pricey)
Donington

Cadwell still on my to do list and it seems like after reading this thread Anglesey should be also. I'm told Brands GP is a great track, but price and availability have always put me off. The Indy is decent, but a bit short. Will do Snetterton one day, but in no rush from looking at it.

Anglesey coastal
Donington national
Oulton

Those are not in any particular order.

The new Silverstone layout is awesome in a fast car. Not as convinced about the wing pits (bloody miles away) and the staff are aholes.
Brands GP is in desperate need of resurfacing, as is Croft IMO. Spent far too much time on the latter trying to find a line where the steering wheel wasn't trying to yank itself out of my hands.
Rockingham with the twisty bit in the middle is fun. But when it's wet it's like it's been coated in Vaseline. Weird surface.
Cadwell is another awesome track. So long as you don't need any facilities...
