We get all levels of competences coming along Bob.Key thing is checking your mirrors before making a move-beit overtaking or turning in, people very easily adapt.
Not all trackdays allow this however and at RSR we follow the organising clubs rules if we are not the orgainiser ourselves.
You should try one of RSRs days , how many times have you caught someone in the braking area knowing full well you could have gone past because of higher driving skill's?

Any trackday is Only as good as the Management of driving standards, by the organisers Team.Have been driving The Ring and Spa, for over 38 years and times and driving standards are changing-----Not for The good reasons.

The driver briefings on circuit overtake standards, are pointless unless there is a Clear message that ANY bad driving will result in being removed from that meeting, and on a non entry list for the future.
Entry costs and expences for attending these circuits are now Vey high, so one must expect that the oganisers comply with their own safety regulations, and remove the dangerous drivers from this meeting and for the future.
Any bad driving should be reported to the meeting control, for observation by travelling marshals who can then get them off track, and advise the TD association of the incidents.

At a two day organised Closed meeting at the Ring I attended,4 Ring closures on the first day, and 3 the second day, meant that we lost 7+ hours out of 16hrs--this after spending getting on for £2K---

I have done Spa twice in public days.
I thought it was quite good and you did actually get some reasonable track time at good price, particular for such an amazing track!

Definitely my favorite! smile

Thanks for sharing and nice driving!
When did you go there and did you get any rain during the day?
