My brother is looking to book up a supercar experience day for himself and his girlfriend and doesn't really know where will have what he wants. I've had a bit of a look for him, but most of them just seem to be a couple of laps and that's about it, he's thinking more of a half day/full day and would really like a 911 GT3, possibly a 458 and perhaps an open top or two. Can anyone suggest somewhere that would do that? He's in Cornwall, so understands it's a bit of a trek to get to anywhere with a track and might make a weekend out of it.

Cheers

Thruxton circuit. Probably your nearest & offers 458's, Lambo's, single seaters etc, etc. You can pretty well tailor what you want and how many laps to your available budget. Have fun!

+1. Also found the instructors to really encourage you to drive the cars rather than trundle around a heavily coned off track biggrin

I agree, as the rest is pretty pants in comparison, budget allowing.

I have done the Palmersport day and although it seems pricey on first inspection (around a grand for the full day if memory serves) it is the only day of this kind I know which consistently delivers - many people I know are quite underwhelmed with the regular track day experience. Drive a Ferrari gently for five minutes for £200, but the Palmersport day is thrash the daylights out of a great selection of cars for the whole day. Great fun and great service.

Thanks for the information, I've passed it on to my brother and he's looking into what he can afford now.

Cheers
