I could be wrong but I think this might be the first trackday on the GT since the groundworks finished so you can check out whatever they've been doing there all winter.
Will GT have changed at all? As I understand it, they've modified the chicane at the back of the West circuit (which it definitely needed), but GT misses that out and just continues onto its back straight.TOYTT said:
I am going to this one. Really looking forward to it and hope the weather is good. I am very much a novice so I hope I don't get in your way too much.
Good stuff - if you want to give yourself some confidence and feel better about your driving you'd be most welcome to come for a couple of laps with me Don't worry about holding anyone up! So long as you let people past if they catch you you'll have the perfect track day etiquette. Novice drivers pay the same and shouldn't feel intimidated by faster cars

I have an instructor all day, so he should keep me out of your way.
Dont like to mention the Audi word with all you Audi haters on here but it will be my first track day with my new car, a white TTRS plus.
Are any of you staying over the night before?
Jenny
How un-stereotypical!
Haha, being a novice you'll get your instruction then be flying round quicker than anyone else - the TTRS is one quick little car!
I won't arrive till lunchtime all being well, need to get a puncture fixed but am otherwise all set. Really hoping for rain, my Deutschland mobile is a bit soft for dry tracks, can't afford to kill the tyres or brakes - have to take it to work on the Tuesday... :/
No probe for a passenger ride, would also like to experience the TT if there's time

It needs its oil, gearbox and brake fluids flushed out. Apart from that its good, i replaced the nur spec exhaust for a hilariously quiet Fujitusbo one. It sounds like a Dyson vacuum cleaner now, which is a bit sad, but its super Bedford friendly. I'm desperate to go to Bedford tbh, but am trying to be disciplined by saving money for trackdays this spring/summer.
A www it's getting spoilt;)
Always good to have a quiet exhaust and makes hardly any difference to power. My car had a ridiculously expensive titanium one fitted when I imported it, must have cost 3k plus but was so bloody noisy it was intolerable on the road and wouldn't have been allowed on any track days. Fitting a 'silent' one only lost about 5 bhp. Bedford is great and even better in the wet, esp in a car like yours.. There're some pretty spectacular evo 9 drift vids at Bedford if I remember rightly
Puncture fixed, place confirmed and car cleaned for Monday.... really excited!!

Look forward to meeting you and hopefully a ride in your car. Happy to take you out in the TT if there is time. Don't want to miss any of my instruction time though Haha, being a novice you'll get your instruction then be flying round quicker than anyone else - the TTRS is one quick little car!
