Yup - I'll be there in a 944 Turbo along with RS4George in his Supercharged Atom (or his RS4 if the weather is iffy) and a mate in his Caterham graduates car smile

I see that you're from "Northumberland" - George and I are travelling down from Newcastle on Sunday afternoon and back up the 9th if you want to join us?

I'll be in a E46 M3, and my friend a Pug 205 Turbo.

Who did you all book through? We still havnt received a email confirmation yet? We booked through trackdays.co.uk, I rang them today and they told me they would push it through to who ever.

Does anyone know who is organising it?

What time would you be leaving Newcastle for to get there on time? This is only my second track day. Do you normally fill the tank once you get there or are you able to leave for fuel and get back in during the day?

Cadwell has a fuel station for 99RON, it is a bit more than ASDA etc, but saves the hassle & burning off the difference out on the roads.

I'll be there - orange caterham.
I contacted Dave at opentrack- who are running the day, he's hoping to get paperwork out this evening/tomorrow, but he said you can just fill everything out on the day - just remember driving licence.

cheers
Adam

Going down Sunday afternoon and staying over so will see you there, it's a 3 hour drive so it'll be a long for for you. Come say hi or meet you in Dave's magic hut of coffee and donuts!

The day is run by OpenTrack - they're my go-to track day company now (not just saying that because Dave is contributing to the thread).

There's a Shell garage about 15 mins away from the circuit too, I'd fill the tank at the last Shell on the way to the track in the morning and then maybe top up at lunchtime if needed.

Cheers for the advice, we might drive down Sunday and stay yet, seems the sensible option. Any recommendations for good/cheap place to stay?

good place and god parking with great food ( my choice ) :-)

good parking again , only a few minutes from the track food not as good as above

http://www.royaloaksplash.co.uk/

If the splash have space always worth a visit good food and a very big car park if you are towing etc at the rear

Dave.

Cheers for that, I ended up booking a place in Wragby last night as there was only one room left and it was cheap. Makes more sense to stay over and have a stress free morning.

We lent a jack to the guy in the 205 late in the afternoon. That thing sounded the nuts.
