Quick-ish......we do low 1m3s there.
You must be running good aero to get times like that.

I thought it must be something like that to be getting down to the low 60's. I used to compete in an OMS which was capable of similar times, I've got a lardy tintop now which is a good 10 secs slower.

Out of interest, does anyone know the various lap records for Combe ?
I tried a quick google, but couldn't unearth anything other than bike records

Some there. I think class A-C times were set in an Astra and 106.

The other championships should have their records as well.

Or you can check TSL timing and go back to previous race meetings to see times recorded in previous seasons.

Tested at Combe yesterday. Old Paddock is definitely smoother, but going through Folly and up Avon Rise felt just a bumpy as ever so plenty of 'character' left for everyone!

It was a typical wet then dry then wet then dry day and knowing how much hard work the grip levels can be at Combe especially when the track's just damp I didn't find it noticeably worse than previously.

Quite like the irony of sustainable green energy being generated inside a racing circuit - no need for guilt about the fossil fuel being rinsed!

laugh Yes there is a certain irony to those 'conflicting' ventures.

As an aside, the times from the Great Western Sprint last Saturday seem to indicate that the track is somewhat quicker than last year.

The current outright lap record is a 59.3 set in an F3 car.
