Hi guys
Bit new to track days so not sure if this is normal.
Have done Brands and apart from a few chips to front of car, which I knew would happen.
No probs
Came home from rockingham and car looked like it had been shotblasted, bodywork and screen.
Cant remember being behind anything close for any length of time.
Also loads of rubber mark which can be washed off.
Just wondering if maybe they need to sweep track a bit more.

Knew I was picking up loads of rubber in the afternoon as they changed the track layout to
the sports car track layout which meant we drove further around the oval.
Loads of balls of rubber over that part of track.

You always get rubber marks there, but the surface is as smooth and stone-free as it gets.

Wherever there are gravel traps and someone uses them there will be gravel brought onto the track.

I was at Rockingham the weekend and experienced the same as you mentioned, but just get some tar/oil remover and it get's everything off including the rubber scuff marks. I don't know if it's me, but Rockingham surface seems to have a lot less grip than Brands, sent etc.
