I'll be there in my green MR2, the slowest, oldest driver on the track. I'll have my ex rallycross racing mate along who is quicker but will spend half the lap on the grass...

I've never done an evening session before, but am considering doing one later this month. How do you lot find it? Do you get enough time etc?

Track time usually starts around 5pm and ends at 8pm, so far for me its enough time as i've not done many track days and on our last 2 evening track days we had a few problems with the car which meant we had to come home early smile

I also find an evening session enough for the Indy circuit. You usually turn up at the track at around 15:30 for an evening session, so you don't lose the whole day. However for the GP circuit it has to be a whole day...

Me and a mate are going the day before with opentrack as its always a good bit of banter, free tuition, free photo's and I can stuff my face full of donuts.

Not sure what car where be in yet though:

Good session, saw both the VX220 and MR2 but didn't get a chance to say hi

Feel for the guy who rolled his fiesta, happened right in front of me!!

Both me and my dad had some good laps once it dried up towards the end of the day however it was still very slippery particularly up near druids for our car

Saw both of you out on track, saw the aftermath of the fiesta as well but it looks like he got home alright with it being towed back as I passed it on the way home on the M25

Paddock hill, looks like it hit the gravel and the front of the car got caught in it making the whole thing go over.

He lost it coming down Paddock hill and went backwards at a 45 degree angle with the wheel locked left where he tried to save it. The wheel dug in and flipped the car over. Main thing he wasn't hurt other than maybe just his pride.
