"Just don't fight for the apex" was roughly the drivers briefing.

Everything else goes.

Overtake on left or right and in braking zones.

"Stay on the racing line and faster cars will navigate around you.
Don't slow or do anything, just stay on your line"

It was mainly race cars from Ferrari, Porsche and BMW and a 918 Spyder too smile

Unfortunately that didn't work well for the poor Radical at the end of the day. frown

At least you managed more track time this time. I'm surprised you were flagged for noise. Those BMW 1 race cars were much louder than you down the pit straight! I guess they must have done a little lift at the bridge on Clay hill to avoid tripping the drive by.

The Radical tangled with the barriers at end of the pit straight/Old Hall after taking to the grass. Difficult to say exactly what happened but it looked like a case of one too many cars in the corner at the same time. The other car involved escaped with only minor damage by the looks of it.

Great day I thought and driving standards on the whole very good.

The guy in the red 360 was taking some very odd lines which made the rules on overtaking a little hard to judge but otherwise I thought it worked better than most days.

Glad the two guys in the radicals were ok. Typical end of the day smash up I think. I always pack up and go home an hour early for that very reason!!

Looking at the vids best time I managed was a 1:44 - happy with that.

Here you go. There is 1:45 on the last lap. I did I 1:44 but will need to find and put that one up.

Indeed it is... First day of having tuition and what a difference. Found 6 seconds i never thought possible before. All about slower entry, trail breaking and accelerating though the corners. Very frustrating for the first couple of hours as it goes against the grain of what I've always done, but was stunned at the times! Big cheers to Ray Grimes, he's not a bad old lad.
