Is it worth (£30) reserving a garage ?

As per title really,

I'm looking at attending a TD at croft at the end off may, was wondering if it's necessary to reserve or if there's always plenty available,also can you put multiple cars in one garage or are you just booking your own space (javelin track days)

Just rock up early and get in any garage which doesn't appear to be reserved. Expect to have people come in and share though.

Last TD I went to I thought I would just rock up early and bag one. Unfortunately the day was full of race teams and there were no garages spare. Luckily it was a nice sunny day, so we just found a space at the edge of the paddock and parked our gear and enjoyed the day.

But on a wet day, or one where you are planning on trying different wheels etc, a garage is a boon. By all means share it......for £15. There's enough space. We have booked garages for our next TD as there are 11 TVRs, and at least one car is being shaken down for racing, so a "workshop" with electrical power will be handy.

Your call. If you don't bring spare gear to a TD, then you don't really need anywhere to store it.

on cold wet days yes. on hot summer days yes

other times maybe not unkless you have stuff to keep safe

Croft garages aren't very big, two cars only really. There also aren't as many as a lot of tracks so there's a good chance they will all be booked - not so likely to be able to blag one for free on the day.

As said always worth it for the chance to get out of any wind, any rain/hot sun and access to electricity. Look to share if you dont want to front the whole cost, some can be (the Silverstone GP garages are massive) but many are only sized for one car

Had one at Oulton the other week and it was a life safer, wind/rain/snow/etc

All were reserved on the morning too.
