What tyres were you on and what's the rest of the spec? You were going well.

I really enjoyed the day (I was in the red s1 elise). Great cars and a good atmosphere smile

The people in the merc that went off were all fine, they were sitting giving details in one of the huts.

I'm getting more used to my car now, this was the third day in it and first with track tyres in the dry and nitrons, spherical bearing bushes and uprated anti roll bar all fitted.

The car is a lot more sensitve with the new setup, I think that is the bearings and stiffer springs doing that, but thats all the suspension upgrades complete now so I've a good base to learn on now. It's more stable in corners but does like to let go quickly if you over step the mark, the back went big time at about 80-90 through the right hander after the first chicane, that made me work! I'll have to get a few vids up, I only did a few in the end.

Hi mate. I remember you. The chap in the M5 is my mate and it was his first ever track day, so he was still learning both the track and the car. I think I caught you up and overtook you in my Cayman R just before I was about to head back to the pits. When I saw you were close to me I did think about staying to play but I'd already been out 30mins and had pretty much run out of fuel, so thought it best to do my cool down lap and get off the track to refuel. It was a great day, I had a lot of fun!

Just watched your vid. Some pace your car has, think you'd have got passed that GT3RS if you hadn't locked up just then!
Annoyingly i never saw that car on track again all day. It certainly had more grip out of the chicane than me, guess that's the difference between 315 and 235 rears.
Isn't your Evo 4wd?

Well, I guess Evo's are renowned for not having much traction when exiting bends, with their 4wd, active yaw and all that smile

Ha, I can't argue with you much there. Second gear acceleration out of hairpins and slow corners is pretty ludicrous. However, in longer, higher speed corners the gt3 would have the edge.

Naturally my AYC has been broken for 2 years too :]

Hi Todd,

Car looking and sounding really quick!

Have you changed it much since last time I saw you at brands?

That much power and torque must be brilliant funsmile

What tyres were you on?

Don't suppose you're going to the MLR sprint at Castle Combe June 13th ? - if so will see you there smile

Hi Sam. I changed the exhaust to a Fujitsubo Legalis R. The car sounds like a Dyson now, but i never got noise warned once at Bedford so i'm happy. Apart from that i haven't changed anything. I tend to drive faster at Bedford than anywhere else because its so hard to bin it.

I'm still on the Yoko AO48R's i've had for over 2 years. Found out that they're the medium to hard compound. They're insanely good and i might cry when they're finished as i sure as hell aint buying more at £900 a set. I won't be going to a sprint anytime soon, maybe if i improve a ton as a driver in the next few years i'll give if a try.

I think i'll get a Brands evening session in next, hopefully pushing quite a bit harder than last time with it not being December or my first time at the circuit :]
