Thinking it was one of the ring taxi's at the Karusell or something that was going for broke.
Had to stay high on that night, but did manage to link both last night though it was manic for the first half of the lap, just couldn't get into the rhythm. frown

Hoping Sunday maybe better if i decide to have another few laps.

Shot from last night:

We may have seen you Spadriver, but the weather's been so bad, we came back to our apartment for the afternoon.
Will be heading for Pistenklause this evening for a meal before we pack up in the morning and head down to Stuttgart.

Manta, I saw you on track a couple of times on Sunday but didn't spot you in the car park.

Was about on Sunday, but we didn't go out on track, too wet and wasn't risking the car for a few fun laps.
Now down in Stutgart for 2 nights, then up to Colonge to see some family there before heading to Spa for the F1.

I do have a couple of pictures to post once i get ahold of them, but the wireless in this hotel is garbage.. works in the main building.. but the rooms me and my friend have are on the far side of the building and the connection is so weak, it takes 2-3 goes before anything loads.. can forget youtube and anything else.

Ah fair enough, I had you confused with another UK bmw then. I was on track most of the day Sunday, but I prefer wet over dry.

Had to force some of my clients to go out in wet conditions.Learn to drive properly in the wet and dry becomes easier. And it works.;)

Great time to be going to get the last of the old Flugplatz. All being reprofiled in the winter.

Which is a bit of a shame... You could definitely tell the quick guys in the VLN as they only lifted once they jumped, while everybody else dabbed the brakes to get the nose down before the turn in...

Speaking of the ring, I am heading out for some laps on Sunday in a polar silver 996.1 GT3 CS. Matt black bonnet, roof and spoiler, as well as BBS LMs. Joined by a Silver E46 M3. If anyone is around, come and say hello...

Should be about although not too sure in what yet.Yes it is a great shame that part of Motorsport history is close to being destroyed forever . Alledged alterations to a fair bit of the Flugplatz, basicly down to one team! So , all being well I'll be one of the first to try the new layout wink

Its supposed to be being 'reprofiled' ie, slowing that section down. Not clear on how or what they are going to do with the spectating area on the outside yet, but a fair bit of work should be taking place!Just hope they dont slow it too much-one of my favorite sections.

Thanks for the info, agreed I hope they don't.
I inspected the whole area on a free afternoon earlier this year on foot, I didn't realise how high it is even though drove over it near a thousand times. It is my favourite section leading to Schwedenkreuze every time a bum nipper, I'm intrigued with what modifications they do to it.

I think we all are.Various rumours are circulating though the best is putting in another crest before the jump.Wonder who'll be the first to get from crest to crest.;)

Yes very, crap Coaster,as a Coaster enthusiast not even bothered that it was near impossible to ride it, the steel slide toboggan near Ring is more exciting. I could never understand why it was built.
