Hello

I ve done numerous driving experiences at silverstone and Palmer at Bedford ( unfortunately never the half/full day but mainly the BMW m3 master due to cost) and was looking for an experience with more driving time and one where the instructors encourage you too push just like they do at Palmer(ie not going into 3rd gear and that's it).

Saw that caterham do a half day at Silverstone with 3 times 20min sessions and msv do a driver training for 1 hour in either a peugoet rcz r or 208gti and was wondering if anyone has been to these or can recommend them.

I looking at £250 each mark and there is 2 of us. If there is anything else similar would be interested to know.

Any help much appreciated.

I know MSV will let you push, judging by the number of times I've seen the logo'd up pugs leave the track when I've done MSV trackdays anyway. smile

Caterham very good.
Cars are obviously better than pugs and they encourage you to push. The Circuit Experience is great value.

That's great thanks for the replies. Good to hear that it seems as though they let you push ( obviously I understand it's down to driver skill and willingness to learn.

On my list of cars to drive a caterham is high up there so my heart is to go for the caterham but looking at the long range wx forecast it could rain a lot so maybe the pugs at Bedford might be better.

If only palmermotorsport did an experience with an hours driving experience for £250, their atoms look very cool especially with paddle shift.

I feel I must warn you that driving a caterham is the motoring equivalent of heroin

As well as the Pugs there is the Atom How Fast. It's £299 so a bit more. Season is done so no days until next year, but it's a good giggle and against the clock. http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/products/atom-how-...

Yes I had seen the how fast atom experience and rang them a couple of weeks ago for them to reiterate basically what you said that it's finished for this season. Hopefully next year, the timings definitely add an extra element to the experience. Also was told October is the last month this year for the circuit caterham experience as well.
