Snetterton 300 12th October

Morning all Dad and I are heading to our first track day tomorrow at the above, only had our little green 1992 Westfield crossflow a couple of months so much to learn about the car and track but really looking forward to it.

Also sods law the fuel pump started playing up last night so taking a spare for Le Mans style quick change if needed during the day!

Any tips for Snetterton + an old Westfield on track would be greatly appreciated, and please come say hello tomorrow

Hello, I will be along tomorrow but sadly only armed with my trusty camera and no track car, my 206 is currently in bits ready to be fitted with a cage. If i get any decent shots I will post them here. I like Snetterton, some nice long straights, a couple of hair pins and long sweeping turns, i'm sure you'll have a blast. Hope you get the problems ironed out.

Hi many thanks will look out for you!

The pump has been behaving tonight so fingers crossed!

Next issue may be the noise test as have not had it tested before and it seems loud but have no choice now if it fails will have to find a on the spot fix!

Hey yes that was my dad having a go! Such a brilliant day learned an awful lot and feel like I have scratches the surface of the cars capability!

Jobs for next day -big silencer -proper track carb setup -more commitment from me on the brakes!

Appeared to me today that on the whole everybody was very friendly, welcoming and on track it's considerably less intimidating when being passed than I thought!

Think I can fairly safely say the big has bitten!
