Silverstone GP Mon 16th November ? Any other PH`ers going ?

I`ve never done the new GP layout, I only drove the old one once and that was years ago when my Golf was far less powerful and developed than it is now.

Looking forward to seeing how it goes on the GP circuit.

It`s a Circuit Days day, Open Pitlane obviously.

I saw sumo69 said he was going in the other Silverstone thread. Anyone else going ?

Yep I'll be there, Orange Caterham R400
plus a couple of mates 205 with a Mi16 engine and a Mazda MX5

Yeah that`s the car, I`ve done Bedford a few times and Thruxton once a few years ago. Car was N/A then, I had one of the biggest spins I`ve ever have going through Church there, Jeez that corner is quick !

Long range has pointed to dry but cloudy for last week. Fingers crossed!

Very excited by this. Been practising the track on my Forza 6 wheel and pedal setup. Good to know where youre going in advance!

I haven`t looked at the Forecast. Experience tells me it could say rain yet the circuit could be dry all day !

Rang Silverstone to see if I could go down on Sunday and leave the trailer in the circuit, no joy, which is a shame. Pretty much every other circuit I`ve been to has allowed it but they said no.
