This place was ideal in Stavelot, 10 minute drive away if that.

Just booked on a Gold Track open pit lane at Spa, can anyone recommend a hotel? I've looked at Radisson, La Source but wondered if there something a bit less mainstream that anyone can suggest?
Hotel val de la cascade, it's in coo 10 minute drive stayed there for the last 7 yrs, it's more like a local hotel but is in a stunning settingCraig
7km away from the circuit is the town of Malmedy, Hotel St. Gereon is a very nice B&B, reasonable prices, 88 euros for a twin room per night and you can walk into the town square to eat at a number of different restaurants in the evening.
The hotel owner is very nice, but her English is not great, they also serve a number of fine Belgium beers at the hotel bar

We stayed in Francorchamps here: http://www.roannay.com/
It is about a minute drive from the entrance to the circuit and has decent parking at the hotel.
It's family run and there's obviously a small gene pool in Francorchamps, the rooms are basic but large and clean. There was 6 of us staying and they put on a really decent meal for us in the evening and kept us well stocked with beer and wine!
They also let us park on the helipad for a group shot!
