Just intending to do track days and not competition. I have a convertible and is a motorbike or open face helmet (my preference) ok?
I had read that some TODs need full face for convertibles or 'motorsport approved' helmets for track days generally.
Obviously a fire proof open face helmet would be tricky to engineer.
Sorry if it has been done before.

From the second page: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Keep going back and you'll find a wealth of information posted over and over. The gist is that almost all TDOs will insist on full face for open cars, and proper motorsport lids aren't expensive and make a very good investment.

MSV are now saying that you need a full face lid in a convertible even if the roof is up, god knows why confused

Thanks. That pretty much sorts that out then.
